We are looking for a Lead Quality Engineer with expertise in software testing and strong communication skills to join our Boston team. The role involves ensuring our Portfolio Analysis and Management Platform meets high-quality standards, verifying functionality, and identifying improvement areas throughout the development lifecycle.

responsibilities:
· Automated Test Suite Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of a comprehensive automated test suite for the Portfolio Management Platform, ensuring coverage of all critical data and UI components.

· Test Case Development: Translate business requirements into detailed test cases and automate these test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.

· Defect Analysis: Analyze defects, determine root causes, and document findings for developers to address.

· Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of the system throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure there are no gaps in the coverage of automated test cases, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

· Collaboration: Work closely with development, data, UI, and business analysis teams to ensure seamless integration and communication. This role requires onsite presence in the Boston office.

· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test results, and defect reports.

· Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in testing processes and quality standards.

· Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical skills in software testing, bug tracking, and quality assurance methodologies.

 
qualifications:
· Software Testing: Expertise in various testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing).

· Test Automation: Ability to develop and execute automated tests.

· Technical Skills: Strong QE technical skills are required for this role:

· Expertise on QE tools Selenium, Karate, and Gatling are must for this role. Knowledge of Cucumber is a plus.

· Python knowledge is helpful in this role.

· Expertise in JIRA is a must in this role.
