This is an accounting role to help a growing manufacturing company located currently in Rock Hill. Target date in December, accounting functions will be moved to Fort Mill-closer to Carowinds area. Accounts Receivable: Process and monitor incoming payments and invoices. Prepare and send customer statements and follow up on outstanding balances. Reconcile discrepancies and resolve any billing issues. Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to accounts receivable. 2. General Accounting: Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures. Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. 3. Administrative Tasks: Provide support in day-to-day administrative functions. Assist with data entry and record keeping. Handle inquiries from both internal and external parties. Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data. Participate in the development and improvement of accounting processes. 4. Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of regulatory and compliance reports. 5. Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Provide financial information to management for decision-making purposes. Collaborate with auditors during financial audits. Qualifications: Minimum two-year degree in accounting, but prefer Bachelor's degree. Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably with exposure to accounts receivable.
