This role is essential in managing accounting activities, including cost accounting, fixed asset accounting, inventory control, and cash applications. The Accountant will also play a key role in planning, analyzing, and reporting SG&A spending, collaborating closely with functional leaders.salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Create and maintain credit history files. Manage the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio. Document daily collections activity. Perform account/payment reconciliations. Respond to credit inquiries from external and internal clients. Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts. Identify bad debt or financial exposure. Prepares month-end journal entries for financial statements. Posting cash transactions, applying customer payments, vendor set-up and weekly payment runs. Assign account numbers to purchase requisitions/Purchase Order and review final against purchase order and quote. Perform general accounting duties. Performs account analysis and reconciliation including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts. Works closely with Supply Chain to ensure a current GRIR account.
