Randstad is actively seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk with nonprofit experience to join our clients team! Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, this role is essential to managing the organization’s financial operations, with a focus on accounts payable (AP) and budget support. You’ll process AP transactions, reconcile credit card statements, and ensure check requests are accurately coded to the general ledger (GL), while also performing monthly GL and bank reconciliations to close out AP. Beyond finances, you’ll order supplies, maintain copier/printer paper stock, and collaborate with department leads to secure textbooks. Supporting annual audits with organized documentation, assisting with budgets and cost centers, and managing the Director’s calendar are key duties, as is providing occasional Health Desk coverage and handling facility rental paperwork. We’re seeking a candidate with a BA/BS or equivalent, 3+ years in a business office, and strong IT skills—particularly proficiency in Blackbaud modules (with custom query report experience) and MS Office Suite. Organize, file, and store processed payables and essential financial documents. Reconcile general ledger (GL) and bank statements monthly while closing out accounts payable. Order office supplies for faculty and staff, ensuring availability of necessary resources. Maintain an adequate supply of copier/printer paper for general school use. Collaborate with Department Chairs and IT to place textbook orders. Assist auditors during yearly financial audits by producing requested documentation. Process check requests, ensuring proper completion, authorization, and accurate GL coding. Partner with the Accountant and Director of Finance and Operations on budgets and cost centers. Provide coverage for the Health Desk lunch one day per week and as needed. Complete paperwork for facility rentals and send certificate of insurance (COI) reminders.
