They perform similar tasks to subordinates while supervising the performance of all production staff.Responsibilities and Duties The following duties are expected of the CNC Production Supervisor, though these may change as organizational needs evolve: Supervise team to meet safety, quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, and on-time delivery expectations.Oversee saw production, material handling, and shipping/receiving activities.Record safety, production, attendance, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions; report to the Operations Manager.Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality for greater efficiency.Analyze and resolve work-related issues and assist employees in problem-solving.Adjust team roles and reassign tasks as needed.Coordinate schedules and responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations during the shift.Control expenditures of departmental consumables, including packaging supplies.Report significant events or issues to management.Collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet company goals.Maintain and train team members on updates to policies and procedures.Ensure orders are processed per specifications and deadlines without exception.Operate production equipment as needed.Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures within the team.
