Obtain competitive quotes, assess delivery timelines, and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure cost-effective solutions. Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards while fostering continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify cost-saving opportunities through design modifications, material alternatives, and process efficiencies. Evaluate and select domestic and international suppliers based on pricing, quality, and service capabilities. Address issues with defective or unacceptable products by working with quality control teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve problems quickly. Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate materials and components are available to maintain uninterrupted production. Maintain detailed records of supplier performance, pricing agreements, and order history to drive reporting and process improvements. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal teams to support departmental goals and enhance collaboration Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
