job summary: A CAD/CAE Technician for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Ventura, CA area. This role involves preparing and maintaining detailed CAD drawings, working closely with design teams, and requires a minimum of 3 years of experience or relevant education, with strong skills in Solidworks and knowledge of CAM programming and 3D scanning being highly desirable. location: Ventura, California job type: Contract salary: $18.91 - 28.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics, or specifications using computer-aided design software.Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies.Prepares drawings of unusual, complex, or original designs requiring high precision using CAD or CAE equipment.Creates, modifies, and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from sketches, plans, and instructions.Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures.
