One of the largest privately held investment firms seeks a Vice President, Contracts Attorney to provide counsel on securities, capital markets and other company matters. This position is hybrid with 1 week in office in downtown LA per month. Position requires (a) 4+ years of transactional practice experience focused on contracts (drafting and negotiating), including vendor contracts, lease agreements and master service agreements (MSA's); (b) an active license to practice law in California. Compensation includes a base salary of $185,000-215,000, annual bonus opportunity, and excellent benefits, including a 401K with a 40-50%, uncapped match.salary: $185,000 - $215,000 per yearResponsibilities Draft, negotiate, review and manage a wide variety of contracts including but not limited to corporate agreements, commercial contracts, and vendor agreementsProvide advice and counsel on structuring, drafting, negotiating, and interpreting contracts and relevant legal and regulatory requirementsWork across subject matters and issues supporting the third-party space as well as providing risk-based and business-minded advice to clientsIdentify and analyze complex legal issues, develop conclusions and make recommendations for issue resolutionMaintain, structure, update, and manage contract templatesWork directly with business clients and develop an in depth understanding of business unit activities and productsSupport transactional and corporate aspects of the Firm’s broker-dealer, investment advisory, and futures commission merchant activities, and play a role in ensuring the company’s compliance with U.S. laws Skills Contract Law Qualifications Years of experience: 4 yearsExperience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
