Will be required to come to the office occasionally, around 4 times a year Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and analyze financial and statistical information required for completion of the annual Medicare and Medi-Cal cost report Participate in audits from the State and Federal Governments as well as investigations or focused audits from the Office of Inspector General Develop ad-hoc reports and modeling Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Reimbursement Skills / Competencies: Knowledge of third-party payer regulations and contracts including Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and non-governmental payers Demonstrates highly developed verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to assess and evaluate complex financial data Ability to manage multiple complex tasks History of making recommendations using clear and concise presentations to senior leadership Exhibits excellent leadership and self-direction, good judgment in handling difficult situations Good organizational, time management, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field required Minimum Experience: Two or more years of experience.
