As a Tie-In Operator -- your main responsibility will be to repair and re-tie broken threads on looms, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production process. You will need to maintain a clean work area, follow safety protocols (including wearing eye and ear protection), and meet quality standards while performing your duties. In this role, you’ll be responsible for tasks such as starting up looms, fixing broken threads, troubleshooting issues like crossed threads or damaged warps, and performing basic machine maintenance. Your attention to detail, coordination, and ability to follow step-by-step instructions will be essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production. This position requires good physical stamina, as you'll need to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or bend for an 8-hour shift.
