The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks as well as executing new projects as needed and coordinating 3rd party FM services. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position, reporting to the Facilities Manager.salary: $54,080 - $62,400 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesServes as the main contact for requests for basic maintenance, upkeep and repair for a privately owned building/property housing an office / warehouse workplace setting On call maintenance for all facilities, 24/7 Provides maintenance/repair of minor electrical/plumbing, HVAC, painting, routine carpentry work and furnishings. Replacing worn or defective parts as needed, and within budget. Responsible for large equipment maintenance and repair, including but not limited to: forklifts, recycle-baler, air compressor, pallet jacks, backup generator, etc. Assists with setups for special events for furniture and displays. Utilizes 3rd party software tools to read, respond to, track and report on facilities work needed, performed and scheduled for completion. In conjunction with the reporting Manager, this position oversees the activities of 3rd party vendors providing maintenance services. Ensuring work expected is performed, documentation and invoicing is accurate, and vendors adhere to company policy for escorted visits while on site.
