Reconcile invoices, manage payment schedules, and maintain organized records. Claim & Deduction Management: Handle customer claims and deductions, ensuring prompt resolution of discrepancies. Communicate assertively on unresolved disputes and provide regular collection status reports to management. Month-End Close: Lead month-end close activities, including recording financial transactions, reconciling AP, AR, and inventory balances, and preparing journal entries. Ensure accurate financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards. NetSuite System Oversight: Manage and maintain NetSuite processes, including vendor setup, bill processing, payments, customer invoicing, and cash receipts. Financial Reporting & Reconciliations: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and generate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Execute variance analyses and manage monthly accruals and recurring journal entries. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency improvements within NetSuite and accounting processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices. Special Projects: Support ad hoc financial projects as assigned. Policy & Procedure Development: Assist in refining financial policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and operational effectiveness. qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, including AP/AR, inventory management, cost accounting, and month-end close. Proficiency in NetSuite or similar accounting software preferred. Skills: Strong ERP troubleshooting and system enhancement capabilities. Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
