Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle AR Management: Oversee the integrity of the billing process by verifying POs and shipments. Manage cash applications across multiple payment methods (ACH, Check, Credit Card) and monitor customer portals for remittances. Strategic Collections: Lead proactive outreach to delinquent accounts, reducing past-due balances while maintaining professional customer relationships. Dispute Resolution: Partner with Sales and Customer Service to investigate and resolve short payments, unauthorized deductions, and billing discrepancies. Month-End & Reporting: Drive the month-end close process by performing sub-ledger and bank reconciliations, booking accruals, and preparing journal entries. Compliance & Risk: Collaborate with leadership on credit limit approvals and provide necessary documentation for year-end audits. What You Bring Experience: Proven background in Accounts Receivable, collections, or general accounting. Analytical Mindset: Ability to reconcile complex accounts and identify trends in payment behaviors. Communication: Interpersonal skills to host AR review meetings and collaborate across departments.
