job summary: We have an immediate opening for a Network Operations Engineer who will focus on protecting important information systems by implementing and supporting network security solutions, especially in areas such as Network Access Control, Web Application Firewalls, web filtering, edge security, IPS, firewall policies, micro-segmentation, and Cloud Security. As the organization moves toward a zero-trust network model, the engineer will help improve and manage security systems, gaining valuable experience in Enterprise Systems and Network Architecture. The role involves creating standard operating procedures for network security solutions and providing ongoing support for these solutions, available 24/7. The Network Security Engineer should be proactive, collaborative, and understand that security is a key part of the larger IT organization. You will work to improve existing security measures and develop new ones while ensuring a smooth experience for end-users.
