We are partnering with a prominent national non-profit headquartered in Washington, DC, to hire a dedicated permanent Executive Assistant to support the President. This key role will involve heavy scheduling, travel, partnerships, and execution of weekly preparation and strategy. The President relies on this role to serve as the executive liaison, run point on all projects, handle planning for speaking engagements, events, conferences, and interactions with the Board and elected governing leaders. The ideal candidate will have a robust work ethic, the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and the discretion to manage confidential information. Develop a thorough understanding of the organization’s history, culture, programs, and financial support to enhance internal and external communications. Manage calendar, speaking engagements, events, panels, meetings, and demanding heavy travel arrangements. Travel with the President to various events. Ensure the President is fully prepared for meetings and events, proactively seeking agendas and materials when not provided. Perform general administrative tasks, including corresponding with other departments and external contacts on behalf of the President. Prepare expense reports and reconcile credit card statements and expense vouchers. Plan and manage logistics for virtual and in-office meetings. Create and maintain files to support member engagement communications and project management. Assist in developing and submitting memos, letters, and other communications for prospects and internal audiences.
