We are seeking a meticulous and organized Import coordinator to join our 3PL logistics team. This role involves handling bonded goods, coordinating the receipt and processing of international shipments, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. Familiarity with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) have experience with customs documentation, including CBP Forms 214/PTT; 7512 and 7501, and possess organizational and computer skills.salary: $19.8 - $19.86 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Cargo Handling: Assist with the receipt, inspection, secure storage of imported bonded/domestic goods and export of the same. Documentation Management: Prepare and review CBP Forms 214 (Application to FTZ) and PTT (Permit to Transfer) or 7512 (I.T.s) for Import shipments, to ensure compliance with customs requirements. Prepare and review CBP Forms 7512 (Transportation Entry and Manifest of Goods) and 7501 (Entry Summary) for Export shipments, to ensure compliance with customs requirements. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all bonded/domestic shipments (Import/Export). Work closely with customs brokers and freight carriers to facilitate the smooth movement of bonded cargo while ensuring timely customs clearance. Track and monitor bonded goods inventory within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with bonded cargo regulations and timely payment of duties, taxes, and fees. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools for shipment tracking and inventory management. Utilize QuestaWeb (QW) system for documentation processing and inventory management. Comfortable working in a warehouse setting with frequent standing, walking, and occasional bending or lifting Proficient in English and Spanish (spoken/written)a must. Preferred, familiarity with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), bonded warehouse operations, customs documentation, and inventory management systems (e.g., WMS). Logistical experience with air freight / ocean freight shipments.
