Join us and be part of a team that values excellence in logistics. salary: $37,439 - $37,440 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Coordinate and manage outbound shipments to customers in North America Ensure orders are processed according to company procedures and customer requirements Prepare pick lists, work orders, shipping labels, shipping documents, packing lists, BOLs (Bill of Ladling), etc. Review, understand, and verify Customer Vendor Compliance and Routing/Shipping Instructions Request and evaluate freight quotes from various carriers and make decisions as to which shipping method will be most appropriate and cost effective Arrange and follow up with carrier pickups Process shipments with truckers (TL and LTL), UPS, and FedEx Communicate shipping information to customers Troubleshoot issues or delivery delays Manage some international shipments Other shipping and transportation tasks as assigned Other admin duties as assigned Qualifications: Two years of experience working with FedEx Ship manager or UPS World Shipis required SAP or other Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required Previous experience in logistics coordination or related area preferred The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentSkillsVendor Management (1 year of experience is required)Working IndependentlyAnswering PhonesPrioritizingDecision MakingUPS Worldship (2 years of experience is required)Warehouse Management System (1 year of experience is required)Inventory (1 year of experience is required)Microsoft Office (1 year of experience is preferred)QualificationsYears of experience: 2 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
