Responsibilities Manage sales personnel in an assigned territory. Develop and implement an effective sales and marketing strategy to drive sales within the territory. Grow existing accounts through establishing customer relationships, assisting customers to solve problems, and helping customers become more profitable and productive. Establish new customers in construction, industrial, PVF, and metal working through cold calling and direct selling. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals Establish training programs for sales representatives Arrange and coordinate staff trade shows, open houses and other marketing functions related to the territory. Work closely with branch managers to ensure all resources and personnel are working together to achieve company goals. Prepare reports relative to the sales of the territory. Maintain customer receivables and handle collections as required. Work with vendors related to market needs. Support and achieve territory and company sales & margin goals. Requirements Past performance demonstrates a high degree of ability in territory planning, organizing, communicating and selling. Previous, successful experience (minimum of 2yr) in outside sales, preferably in construction/PVF/Industrial related industry. Ability to maintain records in an ERP system. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
