Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing applications, developing strategies for improvement and optimal utilization. Cultivate and disseminate best practices for application usage throughout the organization. Acquisition & Deployment: Research and recommend software products and services to support development efforts. Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy new applications, systems software, products, and enhancements. Collaborate with global teams and software vendors on testing new software programs and applications. Analyze and maintain comprehensive documentation and technical specifications for all applications. Ensure seamless integration of new software into existing company systems, meeting functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. Contribute to the pre-testing phase of development by evaluating proposals to identify potential problem areas and recommend appropriate solutions. Liaise with software suppliers to ensure prompt resolution of any problems or emergencies. Operational Management: Collaborate with global teams and software vendors to support daily business operations. Develop and deliver comprehensive training and documentation for end-users, including conducting clinics as needed. Develop, distribute, and coordinate in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications. #LI-AR2 qualifications: Requirements (Must-Haves): Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, OR 5+ years of equivalent work experience. 5+ years of direct experience managing applications and/or systems management, with a strong preference for Configure-to-Order (CTO) setup experience. Proven experience in the development, support, and implementation of software solutions. Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies. Extensive experience with core enterprise software applications, including ERP and CRM systems. Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows. Good project management skills or substantial exposure to project-based work structures. Excellent understanding of organizational goals and objectives. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. Strong customer-service orientation. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Ability to conduct thorough research into application issues and products. Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Preferences (Nice-to-Haves): Background with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM. Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik). Experience supporting applications in a global team environment.
