job summary: The Bid Operations Pricing Analyst provides analytics to measure product and service profitability by opportunity, product or service, business unit, or consultant to support the development of pricing strategies, plans, and customer-facing sales pricing packages. Analysts are responsible for tracking marketplace metrics and trends and establishing, maintaining, and analyzing pricing reference documentation to uncover pricing insights. The analyst captures accurate costs and calculates pricing estimates. The Analyst also plays a key role in creating and delivering solution documentation that best fits customer needs and/or bid requirements. location: IRVING, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $70,000 - 85,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Provide financial and analytical support to organizations, management, and executives.Analyze solicitations to create or validate quotes and proposals.Collect and analyze large amounts of data (i.e., customer and competitive).Create, update, validate, and analyze pricing.Perform pricing analysis and present various models for management's consideration.Monitor costs and price lists and report inaccuracies to SMEs.Work with Proposal and Bid Managers to prepare bids and quotes.Prepare subcontractor requests for quotes and SOWs. Work with channel partners and subcontractors to obtain proposal and pricing inputs.Route Margin Analysis, quotes, and proposals for management and executive sign-off.Work with SMEs to capture opportunity-related risks.Ensure SMEs adhere to operational guidelines and processes relative to cost capturing.Ensure third-party quotes address the scope and have an appropriate validity period.Generate reports showing detailed and aggregate views of B&P data points.Follow the internal review process for scrubbing costs and pricing.Participate in, prepare for, and facilitate pricing discussions.Help maintain pricing tools and ensure they are designed to meet business needs.Maintain records of proposal/quote versions.
