Location: Remote in Chicago, IL(Eligible candidates must reside locally to conduct face-to-face meetings when needed.)Division: Tatum – Financial Projects GroupReports to: Vice President – Financial Projects Recruitment Director – Tatum Financial Projects Group (FPG) Individual Contributor Role | Talent Delivery Focused The Recruitment Director for Tatum’s Financial Projects Group (FPG) plays a key role in delivering finance and accounting consultants for project-based client engagements. This role is focused on talent identification, recruitment, and candidate lifecycle management in support of project delivery needs across areas such as ERP implementations, finance transformation, and interim controllership. This is not a sales or leadership role. However, the recruiter partners closely with the FPG Sales Director, participating in client intake calls and client update meetings, and contributes to pipeline growth by identifying leads through candidate interviews and reference checks. Core Responsibilities Candidate Sourcing & Placement Source, screen, and submit highly qualified finance and accounting consultants for project-based and interim engagements. Conduct in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, industry experience, and project readiness. Prepare candidate profiles and submission write-ups in alignment with client requirements. Coordinate interview logistics and collect timely candidate and client feedback. Client Support & Partnership Participate in client intake and update calls alongside the Sales Director to understand project needs, scope, and consultant qualifications. Support the creation of candidate summaries and responses to project requisitions or RFPs. Engage with placed consultants to monitor engagement success and ensure a positive client experience. Talent Management Stay connected with placed consultants to track weekly activity, resolve any issues, and identify redeployment opportunities. Ensure compliance with client-specific onboarding requirements including background checks, testing, and credentialing. Lead Generation & Market Intelligence Identify potential business development leads through reference checks, candidate conversations, and market activity. Share qualified leads with the Sales Director for follow-up and pipeline development. Stay informed on market trends and consultant availability to support proactive talent pipelining. Qualifications 5–7 years of recruiting experience, preferably focused on finance and accounting roles or project-based consulting. Experience supporting clients in professional services, consulting, or interim staffing environments. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Exposure to ERP, financial systems, or project-based hiring is a plus. Key Competencies Strong communication skills and professional presence.
