Monitor and interpret new U.S. GAAP and SEC rules; assess their business impact and lead implementation of relevant changes. Manage and review accounting treatment for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions, including due diligence and purchase accounting. Support financial reporting teams in preparing accurate financial statements, disclosures, and SEC filings. Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits to resolve technical issues and ensure timely filings. Drive finance transformation initiatives by identifying automation opportunities, streamlining processes, and supporting system upgrades and implementations. Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and safeguard financial integrity. Mentor and guide accounting teams to build technical capabilities and strengthen compliance awareness. qualifications: Active CPA license. Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Expert-level knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Proven experience with complex accounting areas including M&A, consolidations, and financial instruments. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a high attention to detail.
