The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within a warehouse, production, or distribution environment. This role ensures that materials are received, stored, and delivered in a timely and accurate manner, supporting overall operations and production schedules.salary: $17 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: Load, unload, and move materials within a facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or warehouse management systems (WMS). Store materials in designated locations, following organizational standards and safety protocols. Deliver materials to production areas as needed, ensuring availability of supplies. Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, labeling, and documenting. Follow safety procedures and report any safety hazards or incidents. Assist in regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or material handling experience a plus. Forklift certification may be required. Basic math and reading skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
