The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role involves calculating wages, handling deductions, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Payroll Specialist maintains payroll records, prepares payroll reports, and resolves payroll discrepancies. They also manage payroll tax payments and filings, provide support to employees with payroll inquiries, and collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, proficiency with payroll software, and a comprehensive understanding of payroll laws and regulationssalary: $18 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Processing Payroll: Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. Updating Employee Information: Entering and updating employee information such as personal details, salary, and benefits in payroll systems.
