job summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to plan, direct, and oversee the strategic sales and marketing efforts of our power management distribution products and services. This REMOTE role is responsible for developing sales strategies, establishing sales targets, managing key accounts, and enhancing channel partnerships. With extensive travel (50-60%) and a focus on major markets, the ideal candidate will have significant experience with medium voltage power distribution, power conversion, and e-house packages. location: Houston, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $110,000 - 140,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Masters responsibilities: Create and implement comprehensive sales plans for power management and distribution systems solutions and services to meet corporate objectives.Analyze market trends, economic factors, and competitive landscape to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate competitive risks.Direct sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance goal setting to align with the company's objectives.Establish and manage sales territories, quotas, and goals to maximize market share and profitability.Develop and oversee channel distribution activities, coordinating with partners to expand reach and optimize sales efforts.Ensure effective control of sales performance, adjusting strategies and actions as needed to stay within budgets and meet sales targets.Represent the organization at industry events and trade association meetings to promote products, build relationships, and increase brand visibility.Lead high-level sales presentations, negotiations, and deal closures with key clients in collaboration with the sales management team.Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic partners, industry influencers, and community stakeholders.Prepare and present detailed sales activity reports to executive management, highlighting sales volumes, potential sales, and new market opportunities.Maintain a consistent corporate image across product lines, promotional materials, and events. Requirements: Master's degree (M.A.) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field.
