Assist in trial preparation by drafting legal documents, coordinating case strategy, and preparing exhibits for court. Create and organize trial binders, ensuring all relevant case documents and evidence are labeled and ready for trial. Request and track medical records, ensuring timely acquisition and verifying accuracy and completeness. Maintain organization and attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are met and documents are prepared per legal requirements. Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, working with attorneys, clients, and staff to ensure smooth case progression. Support attorneys in preparing for court by drafting motions, pleadings, deposition summaries, and witness lists. Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and precedents relevant to the defense case. Coordinate communication with clients, witnesses, and experts, assisting with scheduling and documenting interactions.
