Apply today!salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Preparing correspondence, legal documents and organizing files Assisting assigned attorneys with meetings, hearings and trials including preparing notebooks Scheduling and calendaring Assisting with client billing and preparing expense reports. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: A general working knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and e-filing in state and federal courts in Texas. Ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy in a high-volume and deadline driven environment. Accurate typing of 80+ wpm and excellent computer skills, including scanning and electronic filing of documents. Ability to create Tables of Contents in Word and Tables of Authority using Litera’s Best Authority for appellate briefs is preferred. Demonstrated ability to be a productive self-starter who can anticipate needs,identify problems, find solutions, meet deadlines, and does not need heavy supervision. Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills. Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Acrobat is essential. Excellent spelling and proofreading skills and experience working with adocument management system, i.e. iManage, preferred but not necessary.
