Position Title: Supply Chain Manager Reports to: Director, Supply Chain / Director/VP, Operations & Supply Chain Overview We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize the movement of materials from procurement through production to final delivery. This role ensures efficiency in demand planning, procurement, logistics, and warehousing while driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead and develop the Supply Chain team, fostering cross-functional collaboration. Implement planning, metrics, and reporting to improve efficiency. Support new product launches and engineering changes for smooth transitions. Customer Service & Demand Planning Oversee sales order processing, customer communication, and inventory management. Develop demand forecasts to optimize production scheduling and procurement. Analyze inventory to improve turnover, reduce waste, and enhance service levels. Procurement & Vendor Management Establish and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance. Secure ingredient/material sources while mitigating supply risks. Track vendor performance using key metrics (pricing, lead times, reliability). Logistics & Distribution Manage transportation logistics and secure freight carriers for efficient delivery. Optimize cost-effective shipping solutions (LTL, TL, consolidation). Support TMS implementation and ongoing logistics improvements. Warehouse & Materials Management Collaborate with warehouse leadership to optimize operations and storage. Ensure best practices in receiving, shipping, and inventory management. Work with Accounting to streamline vendor payments and customer invoicing. Systems & Process Improvement Ensure accuracy and consistency in ERP/MRP system usage (SAP preferred). Identify and resolve obstacles in supply chain operations to enhance efficiency. Qualifications 10+ years of supply chain leadership (food/bakery preferred). 10+ years in MS Office & ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred). 3-5 years of warehouse experience. Food manufacuring Industry experience preffered. Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
