In this role, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of production operations, ensuring efficient and safe production processes, and meeting or exceeding production targets. Maintain safety standards: Ensure compliance with all PRS and OSHA safety regulations. Proactively audit work areas and conduct safety training to maintain a safe work environment for all employees. Achieve production targets: Establish and monitor production goals, track output levels, and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and maximize productivity. Drive quality: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet the highest standards. Manage employee performance: Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and address employee performance issues as needed. Improve efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements, such as lean manufacturing techniques and work flow optimization, to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Manage inventory: Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages, and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials. Maintain equipment: Oversee equipment maintenance and repair to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance. Coordinate with other departments: Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow. Manage employee relations: Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
