We have a great opportunity for a Director of Business Development in Texas! Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our team. This full-time hybrid role involves both remote work and onsite responsibilities at our Whitmore lakes locations. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, you will focus on driving revenue growth, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding our 3PL footprint. The ideal candidate has proven expertise in selling warehouse space and logistics services, with a strong understanding of supply chain management and warehousing.salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilitiesProspecting and Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients and markets. Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and social media. Leverage sales and marketing tools to qualify prospects effectively. Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, decision-makers, and stakeholders. Conduct meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to highlight company offerings. Align tailored solutions with clients’ needs and objectives. Sales Strategy and Pipeline Management: Create and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets. Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure. Track sales metrics and maintain accurate records using CRM systems. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure beneficial agreements. Address objections and concerns to facilitate deal closures. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery. Market Analysis and Feedback: Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Provide insights to marketing and product teams to enhance offerings. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in selling 3PL and warehousing services. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing client accounts.
