We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role involves inspecting both in-house machined and purchased parts, materials, equipment, and assemblies to ensure they meet exacting quality standards. You will be responsible for interpreting technical documentation, including manufacturing drawings and specifications, to assess whether components and assemblies conform to the required specifications. Additionally, the inspector will help ensure the effectiveness of quality control programs by performing sampling and testing on incoming materials, parts, and assemblies. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, detail-oriented, and capable of performing inspections across various stages of the production process, from raw materials to final assemblies.salary: $45,760 - $54,080 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Inspect components to verify compliance with specifications, blueprints, and quality standards. Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and customer specifications to assess product compliance. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to clarify inspection requirements or resolve discrepancies. Contribute to achieving departmental targets by assisting with tasks that support overall team performance. Follow established quality control processes, identifying and addressing issues as they arise, and escalating more complex issues to management. Perform visual inspections, including with microscopes when necessary, to assess workmanship and conformity to prints. Maintain detailed records of inspections, ensuring compliance with internal documentation standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
