We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Safety Specialist to oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for our HVAC, pump, and welding manufacturing operations. This role ensures strict compliance with industry and company quality standards using precision measurement tools while also conducting regular safety audits to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality control, manufacturing processes, and workplace safety regulations, with a keen eye for identifying defects and process improvements.salary: $41,600 - $52,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Quality Inspection & Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet industry and company specifications. Measurement & Documentation: Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product compliance with dimensional and performance standards. Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to ASME, ISO, and other relevant industry quality standards, as well as company-specific guidelines. Defect Identification & Resolution: Identify quality issues, document non-conformities, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions. Process Improvement: Analyze quality data to recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize product performance. Safety Audits & Compliance: Conduct regular safety audits to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols. Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and promote a culture of workplace safety. Training & Collaboration: Educate production staff on quality and safety best practices, proper use of inspection tools, and compliance requirements. Report Generation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, safety audits, and quality metrics, providing reports for management review. Equipment Calibration: Ensure all testing and measurement equipment is properly calibrated and functioning accurately.
