job summary: A world known power generation OEM is looking for an HRSG Inspector. This position is remote and requires 60% plus travel. Candidates need to have HRSG/High Pressure Boiler inspecting experience. Should be able to write technical reports and be familiar with combine cycle power plants. Salary, travel expenses covered and full benefits. location: Remote, Remote job type: Permanent salary: $85,000 - 90,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Conduct regular scheduled inspections of HRSGs, including visual assessments of tubes, headers, pressure parts, and supporting structures, checking for signs of damage, corrosion, or other abnormalities. Utilize NDT techniques like ultrasonic testing to measure wall thickness and identify potential defects in critical components of the HRSG. Document inspection findings thoroughly, including detailed reports with photos, measurements, and recommendations for repairs or maintenance actions. Analyze inspection data to determine the root cause of observed issues, such as improper operating conditions, design flaws, or environmental factors.
