We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team at an aerospace parts distributor located in Ronkonkoma, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of shipments and receipts of products and materials. This is a key position that supports the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions   Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using shipping software and ERP systems (knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and DHL systems is a plus). Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Forklift certification is a plus but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required. salary: $23 - $25 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of aerospace parts and materials. Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with company and customer specifications. Coordinate with freight carriers for pick-ups and deliveries. Perform accurate data entry of shipping and receiving transactions into the system. Track and maintain inventory levels, ensuring proper stock levels are available. Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies related to shipments or deliveries. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
