Required: 5+ years of experience in financial services industry 5+ years of management/supervisory experience in a leadership positionExperience in developing and implementing business plans and collaborating with business partners to align processes and work with the strategic plan Preferred Deposit Product Assessment, Development, and ManagementExperience developing departmental annual budgets and dashboards to measure operational productivity location: San Antonio, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $120,000 - 130,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Ensure adherence to and implementation of Leadership Framework principles and practices.Use direct judgement plus diagnostic accumulation, encompassing the whole process within a plan that has a pathway to goal completion that has been worked out - and having pre-planned alternative pathways to change if necessary.Improving processes by implementing best practices, investigating, recommending, and implementing new methods, discovering new ways of organizing and utilizing given resources.Assist manager with design and implementation of effective work systems that are both productive and authorized.Demonstrate the degree of initiative commensurate with a L3 roleProvide an extraordinary value proposition and member/customer service experience to our various stakeholdersImplement appropriate policy and procedures for the organization's various risk exposures to include operational, reputation, and regulatory risk.Ensure departmental policy compliance, both organizational (human resource, financial, and regulatory (state, national, NCUA).Lead the Deposit Products Department to ensure the social and financial well-being of the department and its team members are met by setting the tactical direction and ensuring the culture is aligned with the overall organization.Understanding and playing a key role in the implementation and operationalization of emergent Deposit Products Department strategic priorities, focusing on the facilitation of deposit gathering objectives.Maintaining, developing, and improving the Deposit Products Department system as a whole; bearing in mind new trends, changing patterns and both possibilities and constraints presented by available resources.Designing processes and methods to facilitate the systematic reformation and simplification of Deposit Products and services.Designing process1) for and performing financial analysis of the Deposit Products overall profitability and revenue impact2) for and method to determine member satisfaction levels as well as member needs/desires/demands and3) for and method to determine product line competitive landscape/market analysis to identify improved service and revenue generating opportunities.Developing end-to-end Deposit Products Department products and services lifecycle and roadmaps.Driving the Deposit Products Department product and services development lifecycle, including ideation, planning/scoping, defining requirements, design and development, product launch, member support, and reporting.Designing, developing, and implementing key performance monitoring and indicatorsDesign an effective system to manage the debit card interchange dynamics for an exempt issuer, to include interchange rates, interchange revenues, program characteristics, card configurations, networks available, transaction mix, merchant routing decisions and perspective on go-forward consumer behavior to maximize revenues through current operations and by improving product services for members.Ensure departmental compliance with all regulatory required remediation, enterprise risk assessment remediation recommendations and business continuity planning.Construct and communicate 1-2 year written plans for critical tasks and projects to achieve organization goals.Develop and maintain business contingency plans consistent with established methodology.Ensure that the annual business plan and operating budget, and deposit portfolio forecast are prepared, approved by Sr. Manager Member Services and Deposits, and submitted to Finance on schedule. Change Management For situations in which the L4 Manager calls for reforming an operating area to meet the organizational need to adapt to the unique nature of external environmental situations, the L3 Manager is accountable for prescribing and executing such reform within their area of authority.For situations in which the L4 Manager calls for improving an operating area to upgrade the performance to achieve organizational expectations, the L3 Manager is accountable for developing specific programs that set context and direction for L2 subordinate roles to implement those programs.For situations in which agreed upon change (i.e. Leadership Framework) has been previously implemented, the L3 Manager is accountable for maintaining agreed change in the face of persistent urges to revert back to former ways of functioning.
