job summary: We are looking to have someone join our team dedicated to saving and sustaining lives through high-quality service and maintenance of medical device equipment. As a Medical Devicce Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our medical devices meet the highest standards of quality and safety, working within a team environment to perform repairs, electrical mechanical testing, and other essential tasks. location: Largo, Florida job type: Contract salary: $19.00 - 19.43 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Perform repair and/or electrical mechanical testing on medical device equipment following documented standard work instructions.Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, policies, and procedures, maintaining a proactive approach to workplace safety.Follow defined Quality Management Systems, complete all necessary documentation, and review maintenance records to ensure compliance.Maintain a continuous flow of the service line, working independently and collaboratively to meet process yield goals.Use established procedures and device readings to make informed decisions during the service or testing process, escalating issues as necessary.Rotate through various roles such as assembly, repair, packaging, spare parts, and test operations as needed.Train other employees on an as-needed basis and perform other duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities: Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, and aids (e.g., tube cutter, crimp machine, pallet jack) for assembling and disassembling medical devices.Conduct tests using machinery, equipment, and test aids, recording data to ensure devices function within specified parameters.Perform scheduled calibration of test stations and equipment.Assemble boxes and packaging materials and prepare medical devices for shipment.Transport pallets of finished goods for outgoing shipment.
