We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer with a background in tool repair to join our manufacturing team in Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating and programming CNC machinery, with a particular focus on plastic injection molds, and possess the ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of manufacturing tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.salary: $62,400 - $70,720 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6:45 AM - 3 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: CNC Machining & Programming: Set up, operate, and program CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts and components, primarily for plastic injection molds. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code. Develop and optimize CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate production, utilizing CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM). Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform in-process inspections using various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols. Tool Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of manufacturing tools, including but not limited to: plastic injection molds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and other production equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on tools to extend their lifespan and minimize downtime. Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble complex tooling. Fabricate or machine replacement parts for tools as needed. Utilize various hand and power tools, welding equipment, and grinding machines for tool repair. Maintain detailed records of tool repairs and maintenance activities.
