job summary: An industry-leading raw materials manufacturer is seeking a Sr. Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join their team near Quincy, Massachusetts. This company has been established for 30 years partnering with household names such as Proctor & Gamble, Unilever, etc. This position will assist, direct, or train workers to install, maintain, or repair process instrumentation, equipment, or fixtures. The starting hourly rate is commensurate with experience up to $65/hr plus a 10% annual bonus, health, and retirement benefits. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. location: Quincy, Massachusetts job type: Permanent salary: $115,000 - 135,000 per year work hours: 7am to 3pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenanceTrace and verify process lines to ensure safety of systems prior to work starting (LOTO)Inspect and test components of instrumentation systems including control valves, RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, differential pressure, switches, transmitters, etc.Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
