Manage the closing process, organize closing folders, review balance sheet control files, and maintain journal entries and standard journals. Review and validate journal entries, ensuring account balances are accurate and resolving discrepancies. Manage currency tables for revaluation and restatement of Mexico’s financials. Perform Unrealized Gain/Loss revaluation for Accounts Payable and monthly close entries. Reconcile intercompany accounts, transfer pricing, and currency restatement for USD consolidation. Prepare North American monthly consolidation (US and Mexico) in USD. Review and post journal entries from legacy systems to the financial system, including reconciling sales journal variances and intercompany billing. Prepare month-end accounting entries, including sales journal variances, reclassification entries, and budget provisions. Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, including real estate taxes, prepaid expenses, and revenue for US and Mexico. Conduct internal audits, documenting findings on general ledger downloads and commissions.
