Maintain the HRIS database, ensuring employee records, tax documentation, and banking info are accurate. Manage time-tracking systems, auditing timesheets for accuracy and compliance with overtime laws. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance enrollment, and 401(k) plans. Lead the onboarding process for new hires, including I-9 verification and payroll system setup. Coordinate offboarding tasks, calculating final pay and processing termination paperwork. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and tax regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pay, tax withholdings, and benefits. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports and tax filings (W-2s, etc.). Assist with annual audits, including Workers’ Compensation and 401(k) compliance reviews.
